His car was traveling west when it went over the center line and collided with a van. The van was being driven by a 55-year-old woman and had a 79-year-old man as a passenger.
The collision resulted in the driver of the car and the passenger in the van being transported to a hospital. However, they were both declared dead at the medical center. It was not mentioned whether the driver of the van suffered any injuries as a result of the incident. Details were also not given as to what may have caused the driver to cross the center line, but the crash was still under investigation at the time of the report.
