Trusted And Experienced Ohio Personal Injury Lawyer & Law Firm
My name is Stephen T. Keefe, Jr., but my family, friends and clients call me Steve. I have been an Ohio lawyer since 1996 and have dedicated my legal career to helping injured people through their toughest of times and darkest of moments. A fundamental value I hold near and dear to my heart is genuinely caring for my clients. Don’t just take my word for it. See what my former clients and my peers have to say about my ethics, professionalism and legal accomplishments by clicking here.
I understand what it feels like when you are seriously injured or when a family member or loved one is killed due to someone else’s fault. This is when you need an uncompromising ally who genuinely cares about your needs and who is committed to ethically and aggressively investing in your case and fully pursuing your legal rights. This is what my law firm does, and we do it well.
I am a former President of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys and a current Trustee of the Ohio Association for Justice, and am actively involved in my community. My firm represents clients not only in Lakewood, Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio region, but also throughout the state, including in Akron, Canton, Medina, Youngstown, Columbus, Toledo, Dayton and Cincinnati. We take on causes, not simply cases. We work tirelessly to investigate and pursue your claims. No stones are left unturned.
You Matter To Me
Trust matters. Ethics matter. Communication matters. Your case matters. These are guiding principles of The Keefe Law Firm, LLC. The accolades we have received from past clients and from Ohio lawyers and judges reflect these high ethical standards and professional achievements.

More About Attorney Steve Keefe
I graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1996 and have been a licensed attorney in Ohio for over 20 years. Before entering private practice, I worked as a Judicial Staff Attorney for two respected Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judges so I could learn the inner workings of Ohio’s court system. Not long after entering private practice, I was elected President of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys. I also proudly serve on the board of trustees for the Ohio Association for Justice, an organization dedicated to fighting for the rights of Ohioans and consumers injured through no fault of their own.
The human element I bring to my law practice extends to my personal life. When I am not practicing law, I enjoy playing guitar and writing songs, painting, cooking, hiking and biking, traveling, supporting Ohio’s sports teams and cultural diversity, and spending quality time with family and friends. I am beyond thankful that my family and friends actively support what I do for a living. These strong bonds and relationships make me count my blessings on a daily basis and also make me a better person and a better lawyer for my diverse clients.
